If you have not heard of this funny 2012 movie then you are missing out. It is both light-hearted, deep, fun, and full of action. Everything you could want in a movie.
Overall this film has been rated 6.4/10 in IMDB which is a pretty solid rating when you consider that this film was made quite a while ago.
But is this film worth watching? Well, that is what this review is all about. So, without further ado, let us drive right in!
What Is The Story?
This story centers around a character named Scott Voss who used to be a collegiate wrestler. He was pretty talented for his time. But now at the age of forty-two, he is a biology teacher who works at Wilkinson High School.
Scott has started to grow indifferent in his job. It is when an announcement at the school happens that he feels stirred to action. The school wants to get rid of all the extracurricular activities which is all the encouragement that Scott needs to get involved.
Scott is not determined to get back in shape to help his students out.

The cast of a movie can play a huge role in whether someone will watch a movie or not. This is a perfectly logical way of judging whether a film is worth your time.
We all have a favorite actor and who can pass up the chance to support them in a new and exciting role.

What Do Parents Need To Know?
All of the parents must be asking whether this film is suitable for children or what kind of content it contains. Well, that is what this section is all about.
We are going to go over everything you need to know about what this film contains. The first thing you need to know is that this film has been rated a 12A so it should be fine for most children of that age.
Nudity And Sex
This film does not contain what we would call extreme nudity or sex. There is an instance where a man’s nude butt is seen for comedic effects On top of that there is flirty and partial nudity with something covering the groin.
Overall, any and all nudity or sexual content in this film is very mild and not anything that you should be overly worried about.
Violence And Gore
One of the key components in this film is wrestling so you need to be prepared for at least some kind of fighting, however mind it may be. There are some scenes that include punches, kicks and bleeding and bruising as a result of the wrestling.
Profane Language
There is extremely mild profane language in this film. The instances of foul language include words like the following: freaking, heck, hell, ass, and crap.
In our opinion this language is extremely mild and should be alright for children that are 12 or above to view.
Substance Abuse
There is no extreme substance abuse in this film. The only case within this film is when some of the characters imbibe in alcoholic beverages. Even though it is very mild and not something that is too concerning.
Frightening And Intense Scenes
This film is not particularly frightening in any way. It can be intense because of the nature of the movie. But this is because this film is about wrestling and some of the fighters that occur can be intense.
In our opinion, it is really not worth being worried about in any sense of the word.
Our Opinion
This film is excellent for a laugh. It is funny, amusing and kind of touching all at the same time. If you need a film that will touch your heart and make you laugh then this film will be exactly what you are looking for.
Overall, the film is well-made. The plot is not absolutely amazing but it is well written and drives the story forward.
